My experience:

I got this in my October vellvette box here. It’s a sample sized product – of 60ml.

I had never tried anything from Victoria’s Secret before this and I really wanted to. I had heard so much about their amazing scents. But availability of VS products is very difficult here in India, and so I never got a chance. Just a week before my October Vellvette box was delivered to me, I got to know about the Sale on on VS and B&BW products. And so I ordered a body lotion from their sale. And just next week I got one in my vellvette box. But after using it for just 1 day, I hurried to cancel my order with Read on to know why!

Firstly, the packaging is good. But it’s a sample size product so I can’t say about the packaging of the full size. But this bottle is very girly and pretty.

It has a convenient flip-top cap which dispenses the right amount of product.

The lotion is of a very light pink colour. Its texture is just as a lotion should be. Neither too thick nor too runny.

The fragrance “Such a flirt” is amazing. It is a very floral fragrance and very very feminine. I love the fragrance.

I have mentioned this on my blog many times that I hate, abhor lotions/creams which give me any amount of greasy feeling. And this does just that!!

When I used it for the first time, around the end of October, the weather was still hot and at that time, this lotion gave me a very horrible sticky feeling. Now, in winters, for the initial 10 seconds it just sits on my body giving me a greasy feeling. And then starts getting absorbed, very slowly. Once it is absorbed, it makes the skin very soft and smooth. But the initial greasiness is enough for me to dislike this lotion.

I don’t want it to go waste and so I use this at night when the heavy texture is still a little tolerable.

I think, for those who have extra dry skin, this will be very good.

Overall, it’s a heavy lotion, which gives good hydration to skin but it’s also quite greasy and hence I quite dislike it. Those who don’t mind such greasiness or have extra dry skin, would love this. Its fragrance is absolutely great.

Why you’ll like it:

1)     Amazing fragrance.

2)     Provides very good hydration for extra dry skin.

3)     Convenient packaging.

Why you’ll dislike it:

1)     Gives a greasy feeling to normal-dry skin.

2)     Expensive.

3)     Not easily available.

To buy or not to buy?

I won’t buy it for sure.
