REVIEW: Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter.

According to Soap & Glory’s website,

Award winning body butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera. Smooth on a handful after your shower and you might swear you’re wearing velvet. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance.

After showering or bathing, smooth a generous handful of The Righteous Butter onto damp skin and massage lightly until it all sinks in.

Price: I bought it as a part of the Soaper Heroes Kit, shown here.

Available at Sephora.

My experience:

I am back with another review from my Soaper Heroes kit!

The Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter has won the best body butter award by “How to Look Good Naked”.  😛

The packaging of the Righteous Butter is a simple pink tub. It is quite sturdy and attractive. The small 50ml size is great for travelling. The bigger sized butter comes in a tub of 300ml, which I feel is too big especially for someone like me who gets bored of using the same products very quickly.

The fragrance of the butter is the same “Original Pink” fragrance as of the other products from the kit.

The fragrance has better staying power than the shower gel and the hand cream. I personally like to layer everything and so the fragrance lasts almost the whole day for me.

The texture of the butter is something I love! It’s very very creamy. It is not as thick as TBS body butters. Rather, it is quite creamy but not too much. The texture I feel is perfect. It is very very easy to spread this on the skin and it gets absorbed very easily too. I don’t need to rub in much for spreading the butter. It gets absorbed within no time.

The butter is great at moisturizing. It gives me good hydration in these severe Delhi winters.

Using this daily makes my skin feel super soft and smooth. 🙂

Overall, it’s a great moisturizer which does its job extremely well. It has a delicious fragrance which as a decent staying power. The texture of the butter is unlike other heavy body butters and is very easy to apply and feels very comfortable on the body.

Highly recommended for all dry skinned girls. 🙂

Why you’ll like it:

1)     Moisturizes dry skin very well.

2)     Makes skin soft and smooth.

3)     Sturdy and attractive tub.

4)     Travel friendly.

5)     Excellent fragrance.

6)     Fragrance has good staying power.

Why you’ll dislike it:

1)     Tub packaging might not be liked by everyone.

2)     Availability.

3)     Expensive.

To buy or not to buy?
