QUICK REVIEW, SWATCHES: Lakme Tanjore Rush eye color quartet.

Lakme Tanjore Rush Quartet.

I have this eyeshadow quad since some time but never got around to using it much. Recently I was just experimenting and decided to review this for you all.

The quad has 4 very pretty shades but how is the quality? Let’s find out!

This eyeshadow quad retails for Rs.450/- which I feel is a reasonable price.

The quad is well packaged and is travel friendly. Though it would have been better with an attached mirror and better applicators.

The 4 colours are super pretty and I love all 4 shades.

If I talk about the shades individually, the yellow is less pigmented than the rest but it’s soft and easy to work with. It works well as a highlighter near the tear duct and inner corners of eyes.

The red/copper and green are the most pigmented. They are also the easiest to blend. But the green one has a lot of fallout, which I hate!! The copper is the best in the quad actually, as it doesn’t fall out much and is very well pigmented.

The purple is the prettiest shade and the most difficult to use. It’s pigment is very poor and not too soft and very difficult to blend in and for this reason I’ve hardly used it till now.

The colours stay on eyelids for around 2 hours after which they tend to fade slightly when I used them without any base. I also used them with Maybelline’s color tattoo as base and then they lasted almost 6-7 hours.

The applicator provided is pretty useless.

The swatches I have shown are without any kindof eyeshadow base.

This is the look I’ve created with this quad, I’ll also be posting a tutorial for this look today 🙂 My first tutorial!!! 😀

Overall, it’s a decent quad with 4 shimmery pretty shades, perfect for parties and would be great with Indian wear.

I would rate the quad – 7/10 .
