REVIEW,SWATCHES: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal.

Lakme eyeconic kajal.

According to Lakme,

The new Eyeconic Kajal by Lakmé is literally iconic as all you need is one sweep of kajal and it lasts for 10 hours. The product is waterproof, it doesn’t smudge and it is even safe for the eyes since it is dermatologist tested. The Eyeconic kajal and mascara by Lakmé forms the perfect combination in creating a look that is sure to get you noticed!  You can now transform your look from drab to fab with just a little kajal and a hint of some mascara.

Price: INR 199/-

Available at Lakme counters, most general stores, online stores.

My experience:

I had bought this kajal 2 months back but got around to using it regularly just since the last 2 weeks. And to be honest I did not have any expectations from this since it’s similar to Maybelline Colossal and I had never liked that one but I am in love with Eyeconic 😀

I have never really liked retractable/twist up pencils. I like the traditional sharpenable pencils mainly because they’re more hygienic and I can apply as much pressure on them without breaking unlike retractable pencils. Now Lakme eyeconic has changed my view, I guess my bad experiences with retractable pencils were just because I chose the wrong pencils in the past. But for me, they were always prone to breakage, tugged on my eye and became blunt after a few usages. Eyconic is none of these!

The day I bought the Bourjois Kabuki Brush was the day that changed my life, no seriously, I am not exaggerating!! This was the first FIRST face brush I ever used and now I can very confidently say that applying powder with a kabuki and with puffs that come with the product makes a lotttt of difference. QUICK REVIEW, SWATCHES: Elle 18 Eye Sparklers.

I had got two of these eye sparklers when they were launched. At that time I only owned one coloured liner, from Revlon and I was very excited for these as the price is extremely pocket-friendly. These cute little pencils retail for Rs.85/- and are available in 5 shades as far as I know – blue blast, gun powder, purple pataka, silver sparkle and green grenade.

I am reviewing Blue Blast and Gun Powder for you all.

My experience:

Okay, one confession – I am obsessed with this BB stick! And I became obsessed with this even before I had it with me. Suddenly, the BB stick was all over the internet since the past few weeks. I bought it last week, as you saw here. There’s a little story behind it. I told my friend I really want it, and told her to buy it for me if she finds it anywhere instantly. She ordered it on medplusbeauty and before it arrived I spotted it in a store and couldn’t resist myself and purchased it and the medplus order just came the next day. So, in short I got two of these 😛 and boy, am I glad? 😀

I’ve been using it for a week now and am here to review it today. You read my review on the Garnier BB cream here and once I finished the small tube I purchased the Maybelline BB cream and just when I was about to review it, this stick came out and as many people were asking to review this, I decided to review the stick first. I will also do a comparison post for you all soon.

Why am I rambling so much today!!! Okay, on with the review!

NOTW: Pink Glitter ♥

I had lot of work this week and to add some fun into my otherwise boring life (Sigh!! 😦 ), I painted my nails with this fun shade last Sunday.

The nail paint is – Nail Juice #81 – Pink Glitter.

I really like Nail Juice nail paints as they’re cheap (50 bucks) and you get quite a decent quantity and quality. Plus they have a lot of shades! I applied this nail paint on Sunday and took these pictures on Wednesday and as you can see there is almost no chipping.

This shade is a gorgeous pink with slight coral undertones and lots of silver shimmer glitter. I love such bright pinks. I have used 3 coats to get this intensity. The glitter in it is a bit gritty but I think a top coat would solve that problem. I haven’t used any top coat here. This shade needs at least 2-3 coats to go opaque, I’ve used 3 coats here.

The shine of these nail paints remains almost same till 4-5 days. They also chip by then at the edges.

I really recommend these nail paints to all school and college students and all those who are on a tight budget or just those who don’t like spending too much on a nail paint(like me:P).

Have a happy weekend 🙂

When I got hold of these colorful brushes from Colorbar, it was like a dream come true! I had always dreamt of makeup brushes with coloured bristles.
