L’Occitane Aromachologie Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner Review.

I have very very dry hair and very dry scalp too! And since 7-8 months, I’ve stopped using hair products with sls, parabens etc. It’s been hard to eliminate these stuff completely but I try to avoid as much as I can. Also, I got some serious scalp problem around November-December last year that I’ll share with you in another post. But for this problem, I underwent a sort of treatment and after that I was supposed to use their prescribed products or other chemical free products.

I wanted to try L’occitane hair products since quite a long time. But as we all know, they are super expensive 😛  but I finally bought travel size bottles of the shampoo and conditioner last year before going to Chicago and I loved them! And also, by chance once I saw this coupon thingy on their US facebook page which had a coupon that you can redeem in any US store for a free set of travel size aromachologie repairing shampoo and conditioner. And ofcourse I got them 😛

Five Friday Favorites #6

Hey everyone!

As you all know by now, I’m at my home in India right now for vacations. Ofcourse I haven’t got all my bath, body and makeup stuff.

So the products I’ve been using are either ones I’ve bought here or the ones I had left at home or what I’ve got for my sister from the US or the ones my sister bought when I wasn’t here. And my favorites too are from those products!

TBS & MAC Haul and some rambling!

I hauled, way too early in this month, no? Sigh!

My best friend and I were just hanging out when this haul happened 😛

I’ll come straight to the stuff I bought!

The Body Shop Banana Shampoo & Conditioner. I’m way too addicted to TBS now and I’ve even got my mom and sis addicted! They had sniffed at these beauties last time and were hooked, especially my sis who really likes bananas, I don’t though, but still loved the fragrance of these! And these are more natural than other stuff in the market so finally decided these over L’occitane which is way too expensive 🙂

These were on my wishlist here.

Then we were just randomly checking out MAC when I got the MSF Natural tried on my face and lovveeedddd it 😛 If you follow me on twitter, you must have read last night’s tweet ; I have been seriously obsessed with MSF since some days! And there in the store I couldn’t resist myself! So, I’m finally the very proud owner of MAC Mineralized SkinFinish Natural – Medium. You can’t imagine the feeling now that I have it !!!!!!

I was scared my mom will kill me when I got home, but I first asked her does she notice anything different about my face, and she said it’s looking nice, it’s looking very smooth! And then I told her what I bought and she was like “Acha hai! It’s looking nice, but don’t waste it! ” yessss 😀 No scolding even 😛

So, that’s my entire haul.

And I observed that usually I buy lots of small small stuff which makes me feel super guilty and today I bought some big stuff and both overall would cost same na, so now I’m done with this month’s makeup shopping. Now, will shop only for my college farewell, which is in the last week of April.

What big makeup splurges have you made recently? Loving them or regretting? 😀 Do share in the comments below:)

My experience:

I’ll start by telling you all some background info about my hair. I used to have relatively thick and oily hair till a few years back. But gradually, my hair has become very dry, limp and lifeless. These days I am incorporating sulphate free products into my hair care to get rid of the damage and build up that these chemicals have caused over the years. Though my hair now is dry by nature but thankfully they are regaining some life now!

Herbal essences is a brand which I personally love for the colourful and attractive packaging as well as their fragrances! I have had a mixed experience with their products. Today I’ll review my favourite range from this brand!
