My favourites – April 2013.

Another month over! Phew! This was a fun month for me and also a month which has taken a few major decisions of my life. I’ll share them with you once they’re finalized 🙂

I am sorry for not being regular since some time, my laptop was giving me major trouble and it finally crashed on Friday 😦 All my data is in it so can’t post anything right now, thankfully I had already completed this post and it was in the drafts to be posted at the end of the month!

I had a lotttt of favourites this month, as you can see!

On my nails – O.P.I Kiss me on my tulips.

O.P.I. Kiss me on my tulips is a beautiful blue-toned bright pink. I adoreee such pinks 🙂

I got this O.P.I. mini nail paint in my January vellvette box. The full size nail paint retails for Rs.520/- and can be bought on many online stores.

The formula of the nail paint is creamy and what I love about it the most is that it doesn’t streak at all!!! In the pictures above, I’ve only applied 1 coat and as you can see it gives full opacity. These pictures were taken after 2 days and it chipped a little 😦

But overall, it’s a lovely nail paint. 😛

NOTW: Pink Glitter ♥

I had lot of work this week and to add some fun into my otherwise boring life (Sigh!! 😦 ), I painted my nails with this fun shade last Sunday.

The nail paint is – Nail Juice #81 – Pink Glitter.

I really like Nail Juice nail paints as they’re cheap (50 bucks) and you get quite a decent quantity and quality. Plus they have a lot of shades! I applied this nail paint on Sunday and took these pictures on Wednesday and as you can see there is almost no chipping.

This shade is a gorgeous pink with slight coral undertones and lots of silver shimmer glitter. I love such bright pinks. I have used 3 coats to get this intensity. The glitter in it is a bit gritty but I think a top coat would solve that problem. I haven’t used any top coat here. This shade needs at least 2-3 coats to go opaque, I’ve used 3 coats here.

The shine of these nail paints remains almost same till 4-5 days. They also chip by then at the edges.

I really recommend these nail paints to all school and college students and all those who are on a tight budget or just those who don’t like spending too much on a nail paint(like me:P).

Have a happy weekend 🙂

My experience:

When I got hold of these colorful brushes from Colorbar, it was like a dream come true! I had always dreamt of makeup brushes with coloured bristles. But all of the attractive brushes were made by international brands which weren’t too easily available in India. I was even considering buying the ones launched in the MAC holiday collection recently, but couldn’t get myself to spend so much 😦 And then Colorbar heard me and brought these beauties into my life! Aahh 😀

But does this brush also perform like a dream? Read on to know!

Love of the week.

Love of the week.

I saw this on UrbanTouch last week and unlike other stuff which I add to my wishlist, I added this straight to the cart and placed the order. Because it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. I just had to have this bracelet.

And now when I have it in my hands, I can just not stop looking at it. J

Isn’t it absolutely gorgeous? JIt’s PINK; it has such a cute BOW, c’mon that’s quite enough no? J

More than hearts, I love butterflies, bows, assorted charms… much much more. And if you add them to something pink, they become all the more loveable. J

And this is going to feature on my sidebar as “Love Of The Week” until I find a new obsession J
