My favourites – April 2013.

Another month over! Phew! This was a fun month for me and also a month which has taken a few major decisions of my life. I’ll share them with you once they’re finalized 🙂

I am sorry for not being regular since some time, my laptop was giving me major trouble and it finally crashed on Friday 😦 All my data is in it so can’t post anything right now, thankfully I had already completed this post and it was in the drafts to be posted at the end of the month!

I had a lotttt of favourites this month, as you can see!

Valentine’s Day….

I am a very very romantic kindof a person. I love those clichéd things like gifting flowers, chocolates, romantic strolls, candle lit dinners. Despite all this, I don’t really believe in Valentine’s day, why do we need one day to shower love over our loved ones? And plus, this day is so highly overrated in our country where brands etc just an excuse to commercialize stuff! I have never really celebrated this day, nor do I have any plans to do so. But well, to each their own! But yeah the mushy mushy atmosphere does catch up on me too, so all in all it was a nice sweet day today, where I pampered myself 😛

A very happy Valentine’s Day to all my lovely readers! I love you all!!! ❤

So, how did you celebrate V-day? 😀

My experience:

I have received this body scrub in my January Vellvette box. I mentioned in my post here that I really wanted this scrub when I saw so many people getting this scrub. The main reasons for wanting this scrub were – firstly I have never tried a chocolate scented bath product! And secondly, I wanted the cute tin box it came in 😛

The scrub retails for Rs.950/- for 200gm which I think is quite high a price for a scrub. But maybe it’s worth the price? Let’s find out!

Star gazing: Filmfare awards 2013!

Filmfare awards 2013 took place recently and the internet is flooded with pictures of all the stars.

Here are a few stars who caught my attention.

Aditi Rao Hydari, in a Gaurav Gupta saaree.

I think she’s looking nice but the whole look could have had more colour, no?

But overall, I really liked her makeup! 🙂 maybe not too good for a red carpet event but nice, pretty:)

Alia bhatt, in a Manish Malhotra lehenga.

Too much skin show!!! I think she’s quite pretty otherwise and could have looked soooo better!!! I don’t like her look!

Chitrangada singh, in an Anand Kabra saaree.

I loved her saaree and hairstyle! Gorgeous 🙂 her makeup isn’t looking too nice, the smokey eye is too smokey! But overall, she looks great!

And this is Chitrangada on the Filmfare Curtain Raiser. Another gorgeous look! Wow!

Deepika Padukone, in a Prabal Gurung .. umm… dress!

No comments on her!

Huma Qureshi, in a Varun Bahl dress.

I love this girl! She’s so beautiful and carries herself off amazingly well 🙂

Madhuri Dixit, in an Alberto Makali dress.

I didn’t like the dress so much! Too scaly, lol!

Priyanka Chopra, in an Armani dress.

Overall, Priyanka is looking great but the dress in itself is a bit prom-ish! I loved her makeup and hair, though.

Sridevi in an Alberta Ferreti dress.

Amazing look woman! Kudos to her for carrying this dress off so well! Super gorgeous makeup too:)

And this is her with her two daughters for the Curtain Raiser.

Anushka Sharma is by far my favourite actress in Bollywood, I just love her! And I am soo happy she’s looking stunning here !! Aahhh… awesome! 😀 An amazing red carpet look ! perfect attire, perfect makeup, perfect hair 🙂

I think it was Anushka, Sridevi and Chitrangada singh who looked the best to me!

Who did you like the best?

P.S. all images are googled.

My resolutions for 2013!

I make new resolutions every year (they’re mostly the same as the previous year actually), but I hardly follow any resolution. But still, it feels good to make them, no? 😀

2012 was a very good year for me. It brought me a lot of different types of happiness.

I also started this blog in June 2012. I made lovely friends in the blogging world.

I really hope 2013 is as good as 2012, if not better.

So here are my resolutions for 2013 –

1)     I will work harder and with more sincerity.

2)     I will give a lotttt of love to my family and friends, and not fight with them.

3)     I will control my temper.

4)     I will lose weight and be as fit as I can. I will. Yeah.

5)     I will always pursue my interests and not let them die down due to any reason.

6)     I will take my blog to the platform I’ve always wanted, and give more time and effort which I have not been able to give till now due to various reasons.

7)     I will stay very very very happy irrespective of whatever happens. 🙂  yayy!!!

8)     I will read a lotttttt, like I used to before I got so busy with Mr.2012!

9)     I will stop criticizing others all the time in my head and concentrate more on myself and my life.

10)I will love myself a lot more than I do presently.

11) I will not spend as much as I did in 2012!!
