Five Friday Favorites #8.

Hey everyone 🙂

It’s another Friday and another FFF post 😀

I’m using a lot of bath & body, skincare products, fragrances and even some basic makeup like liner, gloss, powder! Last 4-5 months of 2013 I literally used nothing, even my baths were boring 😦 but now I’m loving it all 😀

So this week’s favorites comprises of a mixed bag of stuff 😀

Firstly, the nail paint I wore this week, Faces sand coat in Tiramisu – I reviewed this nail paint this week. I’m really enjoying this shade and its finish 😀 more on this in the detailed post, Click here to read it 😀

The Body Shop Blue Corn Face Mask – I bought this face mask in November but got around to using it just this January. Though my skin is relatively less oily these days compared to what it is in summers *horror* 😮 but this mask still deep cleans my face so well and balances out the oils 😀 I’ll review this in detail only when I’ve used it more thoroughly!

The Body Shop Honeymania cream body scrub – this once has such an amazing texture 😀 I reviewed it here. I can even use this scrub daily 😛

Bath & Body Works Pink Chiffon fragrance mist – I bought so many fragrance mists that you saw in my BBW haul post. All of them are so awesome but I get confused which one to use and which not to 😛 so I take turns in using one for one week and so on. And this week it was this gorgeous Pink Chiffon that was my most used one! It’s such a sweet girly scent! ❤ and isn’t that bottle adorable? 😀

Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait – This was my first Revlon lip butter and I loveeeee it so much. But amidst other new stuff, it takes a backseat now and then but I have kept it outside my makeup drawer these days not to forget using it 😛 I have already used more than half of it and would love to make this the first makeup product I finish completely 😀 I guess you all know about Revlon lip butters but a detailed review by me coming up this week!

So these were my five favorites from this week!

Don’t forget to share your favorites with me in the comments 🙂

Rant & Rave – TBS Olive Body Scrub.

Hey everyone 🙂

How’s the week going?

Of late, I’ve become such a ‘store-shopper’ and I hardly shop online and this when I was a hard core impulsive online shopper a few months back. I guess the reason might be how sites have now decreased the discounts they give. 😦 it’s really disappointing!

I love finding online deals with great discounts and recently I came across this site CupoNation, they have a lot of great beauty coupons, you can find them here. Do check it out 🙂

But hey, that’s not what today’s post is about… so let’s move on!

As long as I can remember I’ve always had some ingrown hair on the back of arms, near my underarms and near my elbows. I almost accepted them as a permanent thing on my body. I used to read and hear that regular scrubbing/exfoliating can remove these but I never believed and never bothered about it.

Well, today I have almost negligible ingrown hair. Thanks to TBS body scrub. Oh no no this isn’t the “Main pehle bhot hataash tha” kinda thing. LOL. I’m being perfectly honest here.

I have been using this scrub regularly for over a month now. By regularly I mean 2-3 times a week.

Before this scrub, all I had ever used for exfoliation were very mild scrubs or exfoliating liquid body washes which never made any significant difference to my skin other than making it a little smooth and soft. I guess all this time, I just needed a strong scrub like this one. The Body Shop olive scrub actually does the scrubbing part very seriously. I’m almost tempted to try this on my face to get rid of a few stubborn blackheads but then my skin is too sensitive so I won’t 😦

Just last week I noticed the absence of the ingrown hair on my arms and this is the only product that could have done it.

You can read the full review here.

I’ve been raving about this scrub to everyone I know 😛 I’m basically completely in love with this body scrub and this tub is almost over. But please note, my sister also uses it and so, one person can’t really finish up this huge tub in 1 month alone!!

I will definitely be repurchasing this in Olive or some other flavour!

What’s your favourite bath product these days?

I bought this on my last visit to Sephora that I showed you here.

I loveeee trying new body washes and scrubs and that’s why currently my bathroom shelf no longer has space for anything new 😦 and my parents have banned me from buying any new bath stuff!!! So, I am now going to quickly finish all the existing stuff and then move to new stuff 😀 this scrub is still new but it’s already half over as I’ve been using this very often and neglecting other stuff these days.

REVIEW: Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub.

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub.

According to Soap & Glory’s website,

A superhero strength skin smoothing body polish with shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar. Transforms your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance.

Apply a handful of Flake Away on to damp skin and massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone. Rinse well, pat dry and apply body glossing oil or moisture butter. (Careful! Avoid application over irritated skin or abrasions, as salt scrubs can sting.)
